Rachel, shame on you for not posting in months.



Rachel recently made a tote bag for herself. She made it out of denim and green polka dot fabric. She used interfacing for the bottom, but next time, cardboard is going to be used. I'll try and get a picture of it and post later. I'm about ready for church....

I'm SO excited!!!

I sold my first Etsy item!! It was the green crocheted scarf. I can't wait to put some more stuff on there. (For those of you that don't know what Etsy is, it is kind of like Ebay except only for handmade stuff.)
Sorry I haven't posted lately we've been really busy lately. We had the MHEA Banquet and then the Graduation. It was really sad watching my friends walk across the stage. I am working on a denim tote bag, my machine was messing up so I haven't been able to finish it. If you are sewing on denim, USE A DENIM NEEDLE!! Otherwise you'll end up thinking your machine is hopelessly broken. I cut out fabric for a blue blouse last night, and "E" cut out blue fabric for a shirt (not really a blouse). We are going to work on that at the sewing class today.
I think we are going to clean the house all day, since we are having people over tomorrow to can some strawberry jam with us. We already took a ton of stuff we don't use anymore to goodwill. (by a ton of stuff I mean the bed of Dad's truck was full, and there's still a little bit more stuff)
